Venus goes into Libra on 11/8 – 12/4

Libra is the sign of the scales which makes it very connected to balancing and adjusting. Libra is associated with Justice and concerned with Justice in a social sense. Harmony is ruled by Venus or at least working towards harmony because there is always this sense of obligation with Libra regarding many things. It rules unions, committed unions, contracts, partnerships and marriage. Venus is associated with relationships, especially relationships of a romantic nature. It rules younger women, kidneys and the veins. It’s also associated with Art and Art centers. It can bring a more positive outlook on life and the house it is moving into will show you the area of life that it may manifest in and the aspects to your natal planets from Venus will tell you how it may all go down, the types of people or situations involved, etc. Placed in Libra there may be some kind of lust for life among some of us. Socially things may pick up quickly but be careful that you don’t overdo it because you may end up with a bunch of scattered energy and too many irons on the fire. People might feel more friendly, sociable, or creative and artistic. There can be a tendency to overdo an enjoyable or good thing so be careful of what you eat, drink, spend funds on, etc. This is a great time for making new friends and contacts! On a mundane level we may see legal issues (Libra) surrounding women or connected to women’s rights (Venus).  

Sun Conjunct Poseidon 11/8 

Another thing that occurs on 11/8 (or around that time depending on where you are) is a Sun Poseidon conjunction! When this combination is said to be associated with the Astral body and the spirit or spiritualization of the body. It is also associated with ghosts interestingly. Poseidon is the inner light in us all, our higher mind, our ideals, and spirit, hence the ghost connection. The sun is our body or physical being. However, it is also connected to our spirit. It is our will to live, urges towards leadership, and the ability to make decisions. When it manifests poorly in someone’s chart, they can be indecisive and undetermined. There is a lack of willpower and vitality. It’s very much associated with our physical health, heart, and circulation.  With the Neptune Cupido midpoint involved organizations may go their separate ways, there may be political failures, and it would supposedly be a bad time to open an association or organization. Unhappy partners may possibly choose to go their separate ways and there may be quite a bit of unhappiness regarding communal institutions. It would be wise to make the best of this transit by considering your world view right now with intelligence, reason, and wisdom.  

Mercury Goes into Sagittarius on 11/10 and Squares Saturn 

Sagittarius can be very focused on inner life or spiritual life. It is associated with wisdom and religion. Sagittarius is the dreamer, the hopeful one who makes plans but only sees the big picture. It is a sign that likes action, movement, and expansion. Mercury also likes action and movement as well. Both Sagittarius and Mercury are associated with meditation and motion. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, we may find ourselves thinking deeply, more deeply or philosophically than usual even. These thoughts may surround our beliefs whether they are social or religious. Our interests may expand, and we could become more preoccupied with the bigger problems in life. There is a danger of being scatter brained or evasive when it comes to getting things done and problems solved. There may be a tendency to take the easy road or the easy way out.  

Mercury square Saturn can make you feel inhibited when it comes to sharing your thoughts with others. Thinking gets DEEP and SERIOUS with this combination. If it goes well thinking becomes more logical and so does the ability to concentrate and get straight to the point. Thinking can become a little philosophical. It can also make people feel very distrusting, shy, single minded, conservative, obstinate, and reserved socially. Sometimes estrangements can occur. A lot of opinions may be thrown around, and judgments will be passed.  With Mercury and Saturn in contact with the Neptune Apollon midpoint Deception on some level is unmasked the definition of Saturn with this midpoint is, “Mass deception that last a long time,” or “unclean methods,” I guess we will wait and see how that plays out. After all Mercury is information, opinions, and gossip. This ought to be interesting.  

11/11 Mars opposite Uranus 

There may be an unusual and abundant energy at play with this aspect. It is sudden and makes us crave independence and freedom. Life just seems as though it will not yield to our will, life can’t be subdued. It may give us a false sense of courage though too at the same time. Therefore, it is likely best that we don’t make snap decisions or push our wants on to others currently. People might tend to feel more argumentative or contradictory.  Emotional tension can reach high levels during this opposition. There is a need for balance here and it might be best to just take it slowly, go with the flow to avoid accidents or injuries. The fighting spirit comes on strong with this aspect so do your best to avoid any form of fighting and violence. You may find that people can be BRUTALLY honest as well. This combination corresponds with fighting for freedom, violent people, and revolution so try not push your will on to others. Successful propaganda can emerge during this opposition because it is in contact with the Mercury Jupiter midpoint. This propaganda would likely be from speech, or a speaker so be careful what you believe in.  

11/13 New Moon in Scorpio opposite Uranus with Venus Square Cupido 

Scorpio is about life and death, the beginning and the end of life. It can be ruthless and intense. It is tenacious and persevering combined with passion. The moon represents mothers, wives, the family and our nation. Biologically it corresponds with fertility and memory. The moon in Scorpio is very emotional and not always for the better because these emotions can stir up anger and resentment. On the other hand, there is some ruthless ambition that really packs a punch, and it can be used to further yourself personally when channeled properly. There is a lot of tenacity with this moon regarding the fight for survival. People might be more straight forward, but it will likely be appreciated by others because Scorpio likes honesty.  

I do believe that Neptune Kronos Midpoint is hit with this New Moon. This combo can lead to false statements and opinions. People can get the wrong impression about things. Diplomatic intrigues are described and deception. Disappointment in others can occur at this time as well and sacrifices may need to be made regarding love. For example, maybe poor laws related to marriage may pop up with Cupido involved. When Uranus aspects the Sun it can feel very tense physically. There may be sudden or exciting events related to the body and a feeling of nervousness. Uranus with this New Moon could feel hostile if it is contacting any of your personal planets. It is said that Uranus in contact with the moon can cause disturbances in sleep schedules. It is a very emotionally exciting aspect that can leave the body feeling restless and the mind. Excitement can be a good thing, or it can create upset depending on what is going on in your chart regarding this new Moon.
